The sitting Dove finally left the nest and I took a peek expecting to see an egg or two and what a surprise there were 2 chicks in the nest! They are very quiet. I’ve not heard them make a peep since they hatched.
It’s been two hours since the female left the nest…I am guessing it’s the female that feeds and cares for them. I hope she returns before long it’s getting chilly out.

A new project! I will try to photograph there growth although they’ll probably leave the nest before I’m ready.
