I rarely photograph daytime Moons, but this one was almost true south and outside my window so had to go out and photograph it.

    1. I had a good friend say the same thing to me when she saw my image. It surprised me too! How someone could live to be in their mid 50’s and not realize there are daytime moons really surprised me. It was fun being part of her Moon realization though. 😊

    1. I’ve got an app that lets me know in addition to checking, Thank you for your heads up! Do you have an Aurora app? Do you have a place in mind to photograph the Aurora should we get lucky again with it coming this low?
I’m hoping when 3I/Atlas gets closer we have a clear a night. My app shows the KP index for me great today during the daylight hours but, only 17% chance of seeing in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow and the KP index is 4.00. We’ll have some cloud cover then.

    1. Thank you so much, Linda! I have a few flat blue skies and Moon daytime images myself so, I know what you mean. 😊 I prefer waxing and waning Moons when we see the crusty bits more.

I’ll be catching up with your posts soon! I’ve a got few in my TBR stack.

  1. It is lovely how different the moon is at various times of the day and night with various other affecting influences such as smoke, clouds, water. I noticed it reaching its fullness again last night and gloried in the wonder of our Creator and how he has formed us to be his luminaries to reflect the light of his Son, just as the moon does the sun.
