  1. Halloween is not a big thing here in the Netherlands. (although we do have a kind of simular thing on the 11th of november, called, translated, Saint Martin, where children with lampoons go get candy in the neighbourhood after singing a song.) But I very much like the work that has been put in doing up the houses and this one in particular. Creepy! 🙂

    1. I asked him if Halloween was his favorite holiday and he said, “one of them, but this is the one I decorate the most for”. I’m going to try to get back tonight to it all in action. He-Man is still feeling poorly so it’ll be me manning our door for trick-or treaters tonight. 😀

  2. Halloween is so much fun! One time one of my son’s elementary school teachers showed up dressed up like a mean school teacher and handed him a report card with all “F”s. He got a kick out of it!

  3. I might have passed it up too and waited for my braver siblings to go and hoped they came back! It’s the coolest house on the street. They have spooky music, and shadows of something creepy like a zombie in the window and the curtains move! There’s also a crypt that opens and something scary pops out. I’m hoping to go tonight and see it all in action. They were still setting it up when I made this image. 👻🧡

  4. I had to laugh when this thought crossed my mind: “If they don’t want trick-or-treaters, they could just turn out the lights.” If I’d come across that when I was a kid, I would have passed right by without stopping.
