Thank you so much, Steve! This is my favorite time of year for viewing those mountains. They’re just so much prettier with snow on them.

Thank you so much, Dan! It was beautiful light the other morning. I am glad I went out to look! Sometimes if I’m in my retreat reading emails or doing stuff on my computer I miss it.

I know that feeling. Sometimes the light only lasts a few minutes.

Thank you so much, Ashley! It was a pretty morning. We don’t often have good colors in the morning well, not as often as I’d like anyway. 😀

Beauty but deadly; hope the winds stay calm! News this morning reported Ocean Beach, a few miles north of me, had winds in the 70+mph yesterday! That’s hurricane force winds! This morning had calmed down but that’s between storms as forecast for rain and snow is coming. Glad we canceled Klamath Falls but wished we could have seen some eagles! Stay safe!

The forecast for the upcoming has the route I was going to take up getting hit with snow and rain too. I’m glad we canceled too, but like you wish we could have gone.
We just need to plan a different trip!
Stay safe and warm! I hope the wind stays calmer for you guys. Did the branch get removed successfully?

Yup, guys were expert tree trimmers; and the smallest worker always gets the tough job in this case cause tree branches have to support his lighter weight and he has to dexterous to move between the branches. But, the cost of saving your house can be expensive!
