This is the most elegant and prettiest garage door I think I’ve ever seen. I loved the arched windows above it, and the bougainvillea vine growing around it.
Image made while on a walk-about in San Francisco.

So pretty! Here are people who know what to do with their window boxes 🙂
Thanks Melissa! They do don’t they!
The white garage with red brick around it stood out, but the balcony with black rod iron railing is extra special, Deborah! The gorgeous, colorful bougainvillea flowering vine makes it just the perfect frame! 🙂
Thank you so much Robin!
You’re welcome ever so much. 😉
Great city view 🙂 One of these days am going to ask you for some reasonable places to eat (have to get son from the airport in about 18 days – so somewhere around there since arrives at dinner time, or on the way back home since we’ll have to drive 3 1/2 hrs. to get to our neighborhood…. have a great weekend!
Thank you Jesh! Hum, you’ll probably be crossing the Dumbarton Br to get home. I don’t know anywhere up near the airport.
I’d just pull up Yelp and pick something with 4 or more stars. Sorry I’m not more help!
Nice! Hope I wasn’t walking with you when you took this cause I definitely did not see this comp.
What a great find!
Thank you so much Candy!
Ditto! This is the most beautiful garage I’ve ever seen. I think a gardener lives there. 🙂
I think you may be right about the gardener. The plants are lovely aren’t they.
That reminds me of when we lived in Spain, Deborah. Our house was over the garage. Is that bougainvillea growing up the balcony? We had the same plant on our balcony, too, it was lovely.
I had a Bougainvillea vine growing on my back patio, but He-Man hated it because the thorns tore him up when mowing the lawn and trimming the vine, so we ripped it out. 😦
The whole package is perfect together … but then bougainvillea makes EVERYTHING look special 🙂
🙂 Thank you Joanne!
Lovely, Deborah. I sure miss SF
Thank you so much John!
🙂
Definitely oozes elegance!
Thank you Laura!
Welcome!
Oh yes, so pretty! The architecture sets a perfect mood to frame it with plants — such a pretty find 🙂
Thank you so much Joey!
Elegant for sure!
Thank you so much Lynn!
most welcome
It appears to be a short driveway which can only be a good thing. No room for a vehicle to spoil the scene.
You have no idea how many times a great building or door is marred by a car in front! 🙂
That is lovely. Something tells me I’d enjoy walking around that neighborhood 🙂
Thank you Norm. I’m sure you would!
You have a good eye, Deborah. I love those windows, and I think they may open in a door-ish fashion. The garage door is really sharp. Are those three mail slots? I wonder what that’s all about.
Thank you so much Dan!
French doors! I think you’re right perhaps they’re doors not windows!
I think it’s just one mail-slot, and two air vents at the bottom. 🙂
Oh, OK. That makes more sense. So you got lots of doors today – good job!
Very classy indeed, Deborah.

Thank you Janet!
I agree, this is beautiful Deborah! What a joy to be able to drive through that door everyday!
Wouldn’t it? Like driving into a secret garden. “)
Absolutely 😀
