Violet-green Swallow-Female

I took the Df out for a bit of birding this morning to see how it handled. I have to say I’m impressed. It was fast enough to catch this Female Swallow taking off. My timing is usually off by a hair.
I’m finding the colors are truer on this camera than on either my D700 and D300s. This required very little work in ACR.

I’m having trouble getting my index finger on the Shutter Release Button. It’s not where my finger wants to go. The smaller body is the reason for this. Time and use will soon have me hitting it without having to remove my eye from the viewfinder.
It feels good in my hands otherwise.

More to come.
