Tsunami Kayaks

I went kayaking for the first time this morning in Elkhorn Slough.
The red kayak behind the blue was mine. She number KC58. I had a great instructor who got me through the basics in just 3 hours.
This is something I’ve wanted to do for quite sometime. My friend Dali was adventurous and free to come too.

While we were taking a tour of the slough after learning how to paddle straight, turn, stop, and go backwards two male otters came to play. They were so close to me. One swam under my kayak and started knocking his clam on the underside of my kayak to open his clam. It was so exciting!
This is what I wanted to experience while kayaking…getting closer to aquatic wildlife.
It was an exciting day! Dali and I are both stoked and looking forward to getting out on the water again.
